Morgan Hoffmann Foundation

Living his childhood dream, he thrived as a professional golfer, competing at the highest level on the PGA TOUR. Beyond the fairways, his achievements were equally impressive. Co-founding Greyson Clothiers with one of his best friends, Morgan enjoyed immediate success as an entrepreneur. Embracing his passions, he took up aviation, even piloting his own flights to tournaments. Most importantly, he found a partner in his wife Chelsea who matches his own outlook and enthusiasm for life.

At some point, he began to notice an issue with a pectoral muscle and sought medical advice. Following an arduous process of tests and consultations, he received a life-altering diagnosis in 2017: Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), a rare form of muscular dystrophy. Doctors gave very little in terms of support or direction, so Morgan and Chelsea sprang into action.

What followed was an incredible journey, one that stirred a profound awakening within Morgan. As he sought answers for himself, he uncovered invaluable lessons that transformed his perspective on life. Confronting an ostensibly insurmountable challenge, he harnessed it as a catalyst for unprecedented growth. When conventional medical avenues faltered, he discovered solace in the embrace of nature, nourishment in the power of food, and strength within his own being.

Shortly after his 2017 diagnosis, Morgan and Chelsea established The Morgan Hoffmann Foundation, driven by an unwavering commitment to share these transformative insights with the world.

Community Foundation of Burke, Mayas la nueva generacion – Mayas the Next Generation

Maya the Next Generation “Maya La Nueva Generación” was founded by the Board members of Opportunity Threads: Molly Hemstreet, Walter Vicente and Maricela Lopez Solis in 2019.

Our mission for the “Maya La Nueva Generación” is to help our people back home in Guatemala. To bring light and hope, we have many goals we want to achieve, there are not enough words to express how passionate we are about helping others.

So far, we have supported students in San Cristobal, Totonicapan in the aldea of San Francisco del Alto. We have helped students with scholarships to attend school to advance their education to pursue a career for a better life for their future, and giving them a chance to give back to their communities.

Our dream is to extend the growth of our foundation to build homes, local schools, providing the daily life necessities such as food, water and hygiene kits, for those who don’t have the resources.

“With such great needs we are called to accomplish this great mission to help our brothers and sisters in Christ. By putting a grain of sand to change one life at a time. [Psalms 19-17: “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord and he will repay him for his deed.]”

Boise Rescue Mission Ministries

At Boise Rescue Mission Ministries, we see homelessness in its entirety. For us, taking care of homeless men, women and children isn’t simply about addressing physical needs — food, shelter, clothing — it’s just as much about addressing mental, emotional and spiritual needs.

From the Heart Animal Sanctuary

The mission of From the Heart Animal Sanctuary is to rescue special needs animals who find themselves in peril, to rehab them if necessary and then give them a forever home at the Sanctuary.

While here, they serve as content for children’s art classes. Kids, ages 5-12, are taught the physical and behavioral characteristics of each animal through drawing and painting with the classes being held at the Paso Robles Youth Art Center.
